Terms & Conditions

  1. BOOKING FEE/SESSION FEE & COLLECTIONS

The booking fee for your session is due upon booking and is non-refundable. It covers the photographer’s time and flexibility and secures your session date at current pricing. The booking fee is separate from the price of your chosen Collection.

  1. CANCELLATION

In the event of an illness or a family emergency please call as soon as possible to reschedule your session. Anya Photography maintains the right to reschedule due to illness, emergency, or other unexpected circumstances. Requests for cancellation or re-scheduling are granted only at Anya Photography’s discretion and depend on Anya’s availability. Anya will however make every effort to allocate a new date wherever possible. Cancellations for other reasons will not be refunded.

  1. TRAVEL and ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Travel within 5 miles from Anya Photography’s studio to the session location is free of charge. Travel to the location of Clients’ choice includes charges of 0.70p per mile.

  1. ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Using electronic devices during a photo session is only permitted when previously agreed. Anya Photography welcomes parents to seek permission to do so, and use images on social media with credit for Anya Photography (tag, mention, etc).

  1. CLIENT PROOFING

Up to 3-4 weeks after the session you will be presented with the gallery of images from your session unless agreed otherwise. In some unexpected circumstances, this time frame might be altered.

  1. PHOTO COLLECTIONS

You will be able to choose your favourite images from the day, according to your chosen Collection (number of images/products). You will still have an opportunity to upgrade to the next collection if you wish to do so.

  1. MODIFICATIONS

Anya Photography follows a specific workflow during the editing of your images. This means hand edit and retouching of the skin, colours and lighting to her style. It is the Clients’ responsibility to familiarise themselves with Anya’s style of work prior to booking.

Any special requests/modifications will be charged at £25 per hour.

  1. PAYMENT

Anya Photography will not be able to begin an editing process or place any orders until the final payment is received.

  1. DIGITAL IMAGES

If the Client purchases digital images along with the print release (permission to print outside Anya Photography Studio) and proceeds with printing them elsewhere, Anya Photography is released from liability for printing errors or the quality of the prints

  1. COPYRIGHT/MODEL RELEASE

As per UK copyright law, Anya Photography retains the copyright on all images (even those purchased by the Client) and reserves the right to use and publish images and photographs taken at your photography session to further promote its service, including portfolio, website,

display, advertisement, editorial use, and competitions. Digital files, prints, and other photographic materials remain the exclusive property of Anya Photography Studio. Under no circumstance can a Client use these images for profit, commercial endeavours, professional display, or in competitions, without the express written permission of  Anya Photography, and an additional fee.

  1. LIABILITY

Anya Photography is not liable for the quality of services provided by third parties/business partners. However, Anya will always make every effort to solve any issues with her business partners and ensure the Clients receive the best quality of products.

If Anya Photography Studio cannot fulfil this contract due to any causes beyond its control, including but not limited to: damaged files, an act of God, prolonged illness, family emergency, failure or malfunction of the equipment or software, Anya shall return fees already paid by the Client but will have no further liability with respect to this contract.

By signing this contract you release Anya Photography from all liabilities, claims, and damages that may result from any accidents or incidents that may happen during the session. However, Anya Photography will make every effort to ensure a safe environment during the session, including appropriate training and taking all the necessary safety precautions, especially while working with children.

  1. SESSION TIME

A typical portrait session lasts between 1 – 2 hours, excluding a newborn session, which lasts between 2 – 4 hrs. To provide the Gallery of the photos for clients proofing (depending on your chosen Collection) Anya has to complete her typical workflow. Anya may or may not be able to honour any special requests from Clients.

Any sessions exceeding the time of the session stated above will include a fee of £50 an hour (unless agreed otherwise).

I have read and understood this agreement, including the term and conditions, and agree to be bound by them.

 

I am the parent or legal guardian of any minors taking part in the session and have the legal right and authority to execute the model release stipulation (included in this contract) on behalf of the minor.
