Frequently Asked Questions
- Where are you located?
My studio is located at the top of my house in Haywood Village, Weston-Super-Mare. It’s only 5 minutes away from the Junction21 of the M5.
- What kind of sessions do you offer?
I currently offer a variety of newborn sessions and fine art family sessions. Every one of them will take you on an amazing journey through the most precious moments of your new family life. Starting from my signature Gold Newborn Sessions including a variety of poses and set-ups, as well as these beautiful close-ups of your baby’s facial features, their tiny feet and little hands, through the sibling photos which will forever melt your heart when you look at them, and lastly your family portraits.
And, of course, for those of you who cherish your family more than anything, I offer beautiful wall art products. These will perfectly frame your breathtaking fine art images and decorate your home. This session is the one that truly captures your growing family and will remind you how blessed you are every time you look at your images.
You can find more information about each of the above sessions on the: “session information” page of my website.
- How long does a newborn session take?
How long your newborn session takes depends on a few factors. First of all, the type of session you booked, the age of your baby, and how your baby feels during the session. Some babies like frequent feeds and a little cuddle with a mum or dad in between the set-ups, while others are happy with my cuddles and enjoy their time in my props. And lastly, whether you opted for sibling and family photographs as these will also add a little extra time to your session. The maximum time you might spend in my studio is 4 hours, and the minimum is 1 hour.
If you booked my Gold Collection, it is likely that your session will take 4 hours, and if you booked one of my mini-sessions, it will be around 2 hours. Either way, I assure you that the time you spend with me will fly by. Most parents are in awe when they watch me wrapping, settling and posing their baby, and they indulge in the moment. They often watch me working for a little while, and after a while, they sit back, relax, and catch up with their emails or social media.
Some parents like to capture behind-the-scenes photos of me working on those beautiful images of their baby and share them with their friends and family. I’m happy for you to do that too, especially if you tag me in them. What an amazing keepsake it will be. There is also room for a bit of fun, and if you are eager to join the challenge, you are welcome to try capturing your baby wee or poop on me. You would be surprised how often this happens, and for some reason, it seems to be one of the parents’ favourite memories from the day 🙂
